  • I teach primarily using the NeuroVocal Method—a brain-centered approach to singing.

A simple way to think about it: - Your brain sings before you do. When you go to sing, your brain “opens the file” for singing and you default to the way you’ve always sung. - That “file” is a kind of learned pattern called a motor memory. - In lessons, we work to update that motor memory so singing can start to feel easier and more natural.

  • NeuroVocal work focuses on retraining vocal motor patterns, so new skills can feel unfamiliar at first—similar to switching hands to brush your teeth. In lessons, we guide your brain to become more interested in how singing feels inside your body, not only how it sounds.

You will still sound like yourself—just with fewer barriers in the way. As your brain searches for easier, more efficient ways to produce sound, some exercises may feel or sound unusual at first. That’s a normal part of the process, and those new sensations develop into singing over time. A guiding principle we return to often is: when singing feels good, it sounds good too.

  • Your lesson plan is shaped around your goals. Common areas include: - Producing efficient, sustainable sounds - Musicianship and ear training - Performance skills and confidence - Strength, stamina, and expressive control (especially for performers) - Finding what you truly love to sing (exploring styles, artists, and repertoire that fit your voice and your musical personality) - Self-accompanying skills at the piano (chords, patterns, and coordination) - Songwriting foundations (learning chords and how to create a simple melody)

  • There are several ways to work together so you can choose the level of consistency and flexibility that fits your goals.

10- and 12-month tuition (weekly lessons) are designed as a guided path for steady growth—especially supportive for kids, teens, and beginner or intermediate singers. This option includes weekly lessons, performance opportunities, juries (a feedback experience to track growth and build confidence), and occasional group classes. Tuition students receive priority access to weekday lesson times, including after-school slots.

Shorter lesson packages and drop-in lessons are ideal if you want flexibility, a focused goal, or a clear starting point. These packages are used within a set timeframe to help you build momentum and see progress. Package and drop-in students schedule lessons first-come, first-served through online booking and typically choose from a smaller pool of openings.

Pricing isn’t listed on the website. We discuss rates and the best-fit option during your Voice Discovery Call so we can match your goals with the right plan.
